This year’s Equity, Justice, and Inclusion theme is “Accompaniment-in-Action,” which is understood as the intentionalpractice of walking with others in solidarity,compassion, and mutual growth. Our mission is to deepen our understanding of how the profession and values of social work are deeply connected to the Jesuit values at BCSSW.

This event is designed to unite adult residents and foster community and connection within the City. By participating, groups & organizations can help promote inclusion, reduce loneliness, and allow people to meet new friends and build meaningful relationships.

The Hopeful Neighborhood Project was created to equip you with the tools and resources you need to engage your neighbors. That engagement will lead to deeper community connections, and those connections will help you create change in your neighborhood, to pursue the common good, right where you live. (learn more)

With an aim to make health and happiness accessible to everyone, Walk with a Doc offers free walking programs in communities around the world led by local doctors, healthcare providers, or medical students. These ongoing events allow participants to safely walk (or roll), learn about current health topics, and meet new people. (learn more)
